Welcome to Plain
Plain creates simple, easy-to-use, and standards-compliant web designs for almost any purpose. True to its name, Plain shuns the use of any fancy-schmancy Flash movies or animated GIFs. Instead, we aim to use traditional design styles to achieve maximum effectiveness. If your job is to communicate as clearly and plainly as possible, Plain can help create the design that is exactly what you need.
Clean & Simple
Contrary to popular belief, the web is not all about razzle and dazzle. Usually, all that is necessary is a plain and simple design to get your message across. But that doesn't mean you can't impress! Plain uses simple geometrical designs that not only work well, but look good as well.
The web is currently filled with invalid code and browser-specific designs. Plain hopes to overcome all that by making its designs compliant with the HTML/XHTML and CSS standards recommended by the W3C. By coding to the standards, our designs are assured of compatibility in the future.
No Money Involved
Plain does not do any work for money. Any designs that we create are purely volunteer work that is done because we want to. But why would anyone do that, you ask? Well, because we believe design is cheap. After all, it's the content that you come up with that's really worth the money!
Experiences is an information fair organized by Singaporeans from American universities, to be held at the Suntec Convention Center on July 24th. The Experiences web site is regularly updated with the latest news concerning the convention and will contain the speakers' slides in time to come.
The Cornell Singapore Students' Association web site is meant to help communicate the latest news and provide facilities for interaction between the Singaporean students at Cornell. Portions of this web site, such as the photo album and online forum, were not created by Plain.
Plain is currently unable to accept any additional projects for the time being. If the situation changes, this page will updated with details on how to engage Plain to help design your site. In the meantime, direct any queries about Plain and its services to . Thanks.
